May Update

Wow, it’s really been some time since I posted and I meant to post regularly on here. Things have changed rapidly from the beginning of the year. Plans to emigrate back to Canada in March were set back due to problems with a work permit for my husband. We have sold the house and moved from Mordor aka the Midlands, (finally!) and are now on the Jurassic coast in Dorset.

Emigrating is on again, however! I will fly back to New Brunswick with the dog in June. My husband will follow in a few months when he has his PR card, which solves the problem of his employer not being able to issue him a work permit. I am looking forward to a Summer spent with my family and seeing more of my rapidly growing grandchildren!

In fact, I’m looking forward to seeing out this last third of my years in my home country.
